“I saw myself from above while sleeping” (did it ever happen to you?)

It has probably happened to most of us at one time or another. Perhaps more than once and sometimes in strenuous circumstances….

The fact of leaving the body (other than being dead) is not a new idea. In fact it is WAY older than christianity and predates practically any current religion. Well, you hear all sorts of stories of course, and if it never happened (yet) to you, then you won’t know what I’m really talking about, but take it from me, it’s very real!  I’ll tell you my story and you can make up your own mind….

Once upon a time (about forty years ago…)

I was cycling home from town, about a mile away from home along the main London road where I lived. I’d just visited our local electronics shop looking for some bits to build my gadgets with.

Suddenly :BLACKNESS: NOTHINGNESS : not even a spatial awareness. No sound, light, weight, pressure, hunger, body position or anything. Just me, aware of being aware, and very surprised not to be able to feel my body. Not in fear or anger or pain. Just urgently surprised to suddenly be separated from my body without warning. I had the thought “Am I dead” cross my mind but dismissed it immedaitely as I was trying to get to grips with this sudden new state of existence, and I was obviously far from dead. Dead people don’t think!

Am I dead?

I supposed that I had been moved from my body for some reason or another and that that  state would count me as being dead from anyone else’s point of view.

“Ok” I thought “If I am dead, then that is a bummer, because I know a lot of people who will be really upset if I don’t get back and keep on living”. I hadn’t yet discovered why I’d been parted from my body, but at the instant I’d completed the thought of not wanting to upset anybody by being dead….WHAM! life sensations and body-awareness returned with avengence!  My body was being assisted to sit down on the back-seat of a car, covered in broken windscreen glass. I felt a soreness under my knee. I looked down and noticed that my right grey school sock was no longer grey, it was a nice bright red colour. Blood red in fact!

I rapidly tried to get to grips with this sudden “in-corporation” again, if one can call it that, and rapidly counted my arms and legs, and fingers and toes. I could see out of both eyes, so that was already a good thing! I’d realised by now that I’d been hit by the car, and thrown from my bicycle. I saw a policeman some way down the road, near what was left of my bike, hailing the ambulance that was just arriving, all sirens and flashing lights.

Well they shipped me off to the hospital and I spent a few weeks recovering. I spoke with my dad about my incident, and thankfully, he is one of the rare dads who really understands well this kind of thing, so we went over it and I described what had happened. He said ‘Thank you for telling me’ and smiled and I was happy with that.

I knew that I wouldn’t share my experience with too many other people ‘cos they’d probably say I was mad, or making up stories. But you know something? When you are aware of being aware of yourself, and there is really just you and your thoughts, you realise with a certaintythat you are NOT your body, and that it is really just a temporary vessel.

Changed my point of view on life:

That really changes ones outlook on life. You are never the same again. You look for other people to share your story, and find that in fact a LOT of people share similar stories and they’ve all hidden them for fear of being ridiculed. Well it’s been a long time since I’ve had a fear of being ridiculed. I really don’t give a monkey’s what anyone else thinks. I know what I know.

In pursuing my desire for greater understanding of this subject I’ve found that the concept of past-lives was not so far-fetched as I’d been led to believe. I also discovered that one of the greatest religions current today, had in fact been altered from its origins by some evil person along the way, who decided that all references to past or future lives MUST be removed from the Bible. And they were. But don’t take my word for it. Find out for yourself.

I found a great deal of things began to make sense now. Why I had such amazingly incredibly REAL ‘dreams’ and how I could feel SO many times , that I already knew something before I learnt it and my ‘learning’ was more like ‘remembering’ . And why certain music seemed SO familiar when I’d never heard it before (this lifetime). And how come I felt like I knew music so much more than just what I’d learned in my piano, or ‘cello lessons. I could FEEL it living within me , but couldn’t express it to anyone. OR how  that when I began composing my own music, that , as I stated on my own website, that the music was already there just asking for me to recover it, to let it BE once again.

Unbelieveable potentials.

Well, there’s my story. I’m a multiple life-time being inhabiting a meat-based carbon engine for a limited time period, and doing what I can to help other “stuck-in-meat beings ” discover their unbelieveable potentials. Just because they’re unbelievable doesn’t mean that they are not REAL. They’re just UNBELIEVABLE. That’s all.

Women inspire me (in all the right ways!)

I created this artwork in DAZ Studio. I’m not professional (yet) in 3D but I’m working on it! I like the freedom of viewpoint, lighting, materials, and poses to create the atmosphere that you want in your artwork. I like doing these images because I find women inspiring. I’m not talikng about the low-level freudian crap (spits), I’m talking planet changing inspiration of women, the birth-place of all mankind!

Women have a different viewpoint. Women bleed. They hurt, but they don’t give in. They will be our salvation and will give the love and tenderness this planet lacks from its stupid, STUPID headlong dash into the brick-wall of consumer disaster. Even when they themselves have nothing, women give their love to their family and children.

A mother thinks differently, has a wider sense of responsibility, and  an acute awareness of her own shortcomings to the point sometimes of self effacement. Don’t. You are worth a LOT more to everyone around you than you think. Learn to respect your own decisions and bring the world along with you as you watch it grow.

In my art I try to capture some of the above feelings that I have expressed. I want other people to feel what I feel. This planet would be repaired rapidly if we allowed the women to nurture it.

I create my art, and I want ot share it with the world. That’s why I got onto this blogging platform for you. Crazy but true! So that I can benefit from the exposure and so that you can benefit from the inspiration. We all need inspiration! So, take a deep breath (inspiration) and go tell the world YOUR story. I want to hear it!

My last blog before the end of the world as we know it…….and my first in our NEW WORLD!

Because if you’re still here on the 22nd december 2012 despite Mayan prophecy of apocalypse then you’ll still be looking for a great way to expand yourself and learn to increase your influence to help others to get their lives changed for the better thanks to you and your actions that you take here after or while reading this blog.

The fact is that the Empower Network is a proven training community to learn how to increase your income and your influence to help others increase theirs.

That happens to be a fact of life, that in order to succeed in a sustainable way, you have to take people UP with you as you begin to win at your new found activity. The more people you help, the greater will be your success.

The end of the world as we know it.

The phrase above might have a fearful connotation of destruction of society and awful hardship and suffering.

However, the end of the world as we know it for me would mean, the end of hypocrisy, hate, war, drugs, no more discrimination, the end of stupidity amongst all races of humans on the planet.

The end of the world as we know it is going to be a new dawn for all of us. We can make that happen, by BRINGING ABOUT the end of the world as we know it.

Let’s face it, the world as we know it isn’t worth much. War famine and agony is the lot for hundreds of thousands of people on this planet.

And I hear you saying, “well, what can I do about it, I’m only me…?”

Exactly! The planet got in the state that it is in because too many of us stay being “only me’s”, but you know, you have such an incredible potential, you can start right now to bring yourself up by the bootstraps and start to grow your influence to help others.

(If you don’t ever want to help anybody you can stop reading and click somewhere else. Bye, it wasn’t nice knowing you!)

Have they gone?…..OK, good, so now were all social helpful people left here.

 So let’s create a new vision of how the world is going to be, after we have ended  the world as we know it!

Are you beginning to see where I’m going with this? I want the world as we know it to end. It SUCKS!! Honestly! Look at it in the face. It’s a terrible, stupid, selfish, hateful, “it’s nothing to do with me” attitude, pitiful pathetic planet.

We have the technology, to create planetary utopia, but we’re TOO STUPID to make it happen.

I have chosen the Empower Network blogging platform because from my perspective of a computer technician, and an artist and composer I can see that my own power is increased from this platform. See? Because I am communicating with you through this platform, so you see that it’s a valid formula.

Evidently, I’m not your average guy. I’m different. I’m not a follower of the masses. In my life I have a number of times found myself going in the complete opposite direction to what “everyone else” was doing.

WHY? Because I can make up my mind and stick to what I have decided, even if that means going against the current. I don’t care.

I have been on a crusade for my life to follow this simple intention :

“I intend that every person who’s life I come into contact with will be improved from my interaction and exchange that I have with them.”

I made this intention when I was around 18 years old, when I’d been asked “what are you going to be?” in my school career decision days. I knew it didn’t matter what I did to put food on the table. I was going to use my ‘difference’ to help people achieve their goals.

I want you to achieve your goals.

I’m promoting my art and music on a global level and I’m building a team with me here.

Financial Security : What is it and can anyone have it?

Hello there! I was looking around for a subject to share with you today and came across the concept of financial security as being the topic of very high concern among the majority of us.

I have a soft-spot for struggling artists and musicians because I feel these creative people deserve a better deal than the rough time they get, not being able to concentrate on their art form ‘because they have to work to eat’, to me that is SO backwards in this society, we are throttling our culture not making it sufficiently easy to be an artist and survive by your art alone.

If I could, I’d produce more of this stuff….

But a culture is SLOW to change, but I am a part of that change and perhaps you will be too.

We all want financial security, but what is it really and can anyone really have it?

There is a old proverb that goes something along the lines of have a penny, spend a half-penny, you have happiness. Have a penny, spend two pennies, you have misery.

Simply translated into debt = misery, and the whole consumer driven society in which we live has got you believing that you have to have debts to have the great things that you need to be happy now, and you can pay for it all later…..

Except later, you’re even more in debt and even less happy ‘cos you have colossal debts hanging round your neck and so it goes on…

But what is Financial security?

I would like to consider that financial security would be having enough income to cover your current expenses and enough left over to put into projects that you want to. This being linked to having several sources of income, any one of which would cover your basic needs by itself, then you could happily have one income source (like your current job) suddenly disappear because the company shut down or was bought up or whatever reason, and you still have enough income from other sources to happily continue to survive comfortably.

That, for me would be financial security.

I searched around a little to find out how much interest alone you could earn on a million dollars, and found this handy response :

So, you’d get $40,000 a year. Not too shabby for a start! There are certain members of the empower network who have successfully built up their monthly income to over $40,000. Per Month! That is some seriously well applied knowledge! So, it can be done.

Evidently not everyone is making such great sums, but there are a majority of people who are making some money.

In any business, you get out of it what you’re willing to put into it, and based on the way any business is built, instant millions are not a reality, but a decent viable, sustainable secondary income that could be built into a primary income through hard work, training, and dedication to your goals, is certainly a high probability.

That, in reality is the only true source of financial security.

Your own hard work and willingness to do what it takes to make it work.

This is the concept of financial security using the power of marketing on the internet to provide you with a sustainable income that does not take all the hours there are in the day to make and does not involve any of the following :

1. cold calling of phone prospects
2. door to door sales
3. any face to face selling or prospective customer handling
4. faking anything, trying to impress anyone into buying what you’re selling by wearing an expensive suit (that you haven’t paid for yet)
5. having to keep stocks of vitamins, face cream, lingerie or sex-toys under the bed
6. Pleading with your friends or family to buy some stuff so you can get the (measly) commission
7. working 18 hours a day continuously pounding your down-line team to make sales
8. selling your prospects a “two-year plan” and having to keep selling it even though you’ve been in the game for the last 10 years and still can’t hope to retire

Can creative, artistic people make money too? Promote your art with the Empower Network

Are you an artist? Is your ‘dislike’ of money keeping you broke? Hello. I’ve seen a lot of this. Artistic people who have a super creative talent, and are completely numbskulls when it comes to marketing! You, like me, can probably cite a number of examples in your life, or even yourself. Adam Lanza murdered 27 poeple. Sandy Hook Elementary school, Connetticut Shooting

This is an unbelieveable tradegy. For the people who lost their lives, for those who survived and have to bear the pain. For those whose lives have been shattered by this unspeakable act of insanity. I say insanity, and DON’T FUCKING TRY TO TELL ME that this kid was just a “bit different”.  He’s a murderer and he’s dead.

Having just heard the headlines and with no other information available to me at this time, I’ll lay my bets here:

I’ll bet he was previously ‘diagnosed’ as ‘depressed’.

I’ll bet he was on medication of a psychotropic kind with ‘unknown’ side-effects.  I dare you to prove me wrong.

I’ll bet that there were hundreds of indicators of his simmering hate for others and his repressed murderous attitude ages ago that were seen and NOT ACTED upon. I’ll bet.

So you see the unspeakable horror that this individual caused.

What can learn from this? How can we take action to learn to observe the indicators about the actions of others so that we can predict what they will do and act to prevent such a catastrophy.

American “democracy” has allowed everyone to have the right to have murderous weaponry at home “to protect themselves”. With such a easy access to such items, unstable hateful individuals will always cause far greater damage than without.

I feel that we can, as human beings learn to see such things brewing, before it’s too late. Unfortunately in our current society, such ‘depressed’ (or should I say ‘supressed’) people are walking time-bombs.

Unfortunately we’ve apparently long since given up hope of having enough caring for someone else, and we’ve stupidly dropped all personal responsibility for our fellow man, and “left it up to the (falsely self-acclaimed) ‘experts’ “.

These ‘experts’ are responsible for the continual degradation of our occidental school system. They are responsible for the mass drugging of school children and are also responsible for the atrocious quantity of violent crimes committed by children or now ‘adults’ that have been harboring a total hatred of those who allowed their sanity to be destroyed by Ritalin and the likes. I challenge you to find out the truth for yourself.

So don’t be so surprised when such atrocities occur.

Now, I suggest that you take this incident as an indicator of the state of the society in which you live and take heed of the warnings that I have mentioned here.

This incident has been all over the news, true, but it is NOT REPRESENATIVE of the actuality of our society. 

But the media concentrates on the horrific. For this one horrific incident there are literally THOUSANDS of kind, great, beautiful, humane and unselfish acts that have been done today by hundreds of thousands individuals that HAVE NOT been told to you. Why? Why do the media force-feed you the horror stories? What are they trying to accomplish?

Alright, as I am your true friend, I will not leave you with this sadness and in your mind.

I want you to look around your environment and spot things that do not remind you of this incident.

OK, look around again at other things in your environment that do not remind you of this incident.

Do this until you feel alert and in ‘present time’.

image compositing with DAZ studio renders: The basics.

Hi there! I’m just working on a new work of art and I thought I’d share this unique opportunity to walk you through one simple way of using DAZ studio to do image compositing using DAZ studio renders. (A render is an image in 2d of a 3d virtual scene, as though taking a photo)

What’s a composite render?

Here’s the Wikipedia article on compositing

Well, what I mean is use daz studio for the 3d character and then use the image in a .png format ( .png is Portable Network Graphics, which is a format that allows transparency.) to allow you to use the image and “see through” the black parts to your scene background on the layer below.

In order to make this work, you’ll need Daz Studio, and a basic image manipulation program like the GIMP, or a version of Adobe Photoshop for example.

First set up your character and lights and use a black background. do your render and you’ll get something like this :

Allright, so now you need a background image. I took this shot of a sunrise a few weeks back and wanted to use this dramatic sunlit cloudscape for my background.

 Now for the image compositing magic!

OK,so far so good. Now we have to load both images into our photo manipulation program and set the sunrise as the background layer and the girl as the layer above.

As the girl is in .png format the white areas are invisible and she sits right in our sunrise bathing in the warmth and glory!

As it turns out I had to scale her up as my photo is 2500 pixels wide and I only rendered at 1500 pixels, but your editing program can easily take care of all that.

ok, so now you need to adjust her position and see how well your lighting colors are matching. That’s a key part to making the image compositing  ”believable.” I think it looks pretty good here so I’ll upload and let you see the result. I’ll say that I did this set up in about the last 20 minutes or so , so what you see here is raw direct and un-cut!

“Bathing in the glory”

Alright! So you see how we did this? I’m pretty convinced with the result, but obviously more fine retouching would be required for the final image, but that might need to be the subject of another post if you like.

Oh, the dress? I thought you might ask! Well it’s a dynamic dress from the Ultimate pattern design kit, with several tweaks and changes to the original. I’ve reshaped, bump and diffuse mapped it and added translucency to have it cling and hang the way I wanted.

Well, there you have it in a nutshell, simple basic image compositiong using DAZ studio.

Mayan Calendar predictions 21.12.2012 or 12.21.2012 or December 21st 2012 or the end of the world?

Hello everyone! Well, I can see that the Mayan Calendar predictions are the really hot topic these days, and why shouldn’t it be? As a human ‘civilisation’ of today where we can’t even understand what the Mayans have really been predicting, and that just goes to show that we’re NO WHERE NEAR the level of sophistication of society that was already abundant on this planet thousands of years ago.

If the Mayan Calendar has dates on it that precede earth, then where were the Mayans then? Are we really kidding ourselves that we’re the only “intelligent” (ha ha) civilisation around this part of the galaxy?

So what does the fact of even just the existence of the Mayan calendar mean to us?

Well this video by NASA gives at least a grounding in the subject:

This might be taking a big risk, but we’ve been around for a while and have already out-lived a number of end-of-the-world scenarios. So I guess we’ll find out in a few days!

But Mayan Calendar interpretations of course are all based on what we have decided to believe that it meant, having no real way of discovering the actual definitive meaning of the writings. Evidently a great deal of work has been done in order to translate or interpret the writings but if one word or concept was incorrectly determined then the entire relationship of the concepts that have been translated from the Mayan Calendar predictions would be inaccurate.

Thus, we can only continue to speculate, and plan for having to continue to live after 21.12.2012!

If that is the case then we’ll still have our daily grind to face and our life struggle to contend with, and that it might become a bit easier if we were more successful in our business or even if we had a business to be successful in!
