A selection of photos from the complete dimantling in order to resolder the DC jack. Start by levering up the bezel around the top of the keyboar to access the screws below. Remove them all. turn over and remove all screws on the underside, and two at the back. remove the battery.slowly ease the top part away, and disconect the buzzer cable, remove the keyboard, carefully unlocking the ribbon cable first. remove the cd rom, lift out the wifi card from its slot, unplug the screen and audio cables. remove the hard drive. remove the harddrive bay. unscrew the heatsink and lift away. unscrew the fan.

This was created using flash photography on organza in motion, and a little retouching in paintshop to enhance the contrast. I particularly like the contrasting colours and the fluidity of the forms created, coupled with the intensity of the reflected lighting the work yells out action and vivacity!
