Miracle cure using state-of-the-art cell technology cures a teenage girl of blindness caused by an under-developed optic nerve. This girl from Colorado, called Macey had to go to China to recieve the treatment that was unavailable in America. (Why?)
So you can see, this is truly a miracle cure for this girls condition, and it gives tremendous hope to many others who are living on the edge of medical treatment availability for other disorders that could be cured by such a treatment.
I can get very angry at the amount of money governments spend creating killing machines compared to the amount of money for such humanitarian advances such as these. Obviously certain concepts on this planet are completely out of balance.
But stem cell treatment technology could evole so much faster if the US arms budget was routed to the “US save the planet by improving medical technologies” actions.
If we can create such utterly miraculous treatments, how come we can’t all agree to live together on this little planet?
I’m working on the basis that we can, and that if each one of us put out into our environment the love and care that is needed, that there would be more than enough for everyone and no-one on the planet would be suffering or starving or “dying for a cause”. I mean, the way to really help people is to put them into a position where they can help themselves. That way your help gets multiplied, and not sucked dry by a bunch of lazy, ignorant, ‘your rich so you have to do it for me’ type individuals.
Help people, yes, but help them to DO IT THEMSELVES, or you’ll dig yourself into a one-way help flow that will suck every penny from well-meaning donators, and you’ll STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS.
See what I mean? Pass this message on to every helpful person you know and teach it to your children. People survive better with people who show them how to take control of their environment and causatively improve it.
More tomorrow.
