Lite coin is Bitcoins "little brother", or at least that's the way it seems right now, but there are some things about Litecoin that make it a very interesting player in the upcoming and massively expanding cryptocurrency scene.

Litecoin right now is EASY to buy, it's just getting started and unlike Bitcoin, doesn't cost $20,000 each! Current price as I write this (25 December, happy Christmas by the way!) is at about $270 /LTC.

That makes it a VERY affordable start to anyone who's interested in getting started with cryptocurrency, but feels like they "missed" the Bitcoin opportunity window. (They didn't, but some people feel like they did because $20k is a lot to pay for one bitcoin.)

Litecoin was DESIGNED to be a small to medium size TRANSACTION currency, and not a 'store of value' as Bitcoin is seemingly becoming, and many new and USEFUL merchants that accept Litecoin and provide Goods and Services suign Litecoin as a means of TRANSACTION.

Remember, the more that we all get using Litecoin for anything that we can, the FASTER that it will become OUR means of online transactions, and the sooner the old-school banking system that's been holding down planetary online wealth creation will be a thing of the past.

Litecoin creator Charles Lee, donated his LTC sale proceeds to the Litecoin foundation so that he could more easily concentrate his efforts on making Litecoin the top transaction crypto for 2018 and beyond.
